BH Area Hospitality Association Member Benefits

What BH Area Hospitality Association membership gives you

Joining our association isn't just about ticking a box. It's about being part of a community that actively works to make life easier for accommodation providers in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, and that gives you real, practical tools to run your business better.

Stay informed

You'll receive a monthly newsletter covering local tourism news, industry updates and anything affecting hospitality businesses in the area. We also feed through information directly from local boards and tourism bodies so you're never the last to hear about something that affects you.

Train your team for less

Members get discounted rates on a range of essential training courses from our patrons, including first aid, fire marshal, legionella awareness and allergy training to name a few. These are courses your team needs anyway; membership means you pay less for them.

Connect with the right people

Three times a year, Hotel GMs and Directors meet to share updates, hear from industry speakers and talk through shared challenges. It's one of the few spaces in the area where senior hospitality professionals get together specifically to think about the bigger picture.

Marketing Round Table & Networking

Held quarterly, this is a space for marketing leads (as well as sales and events coordinators) to share what's working, what isn't, and what's coming.

Whether you're thinking about your social media presence, how to drive direct bookings, or how to position your property for a new audience, the round table is a place to think out loud with people who face the same challenges. Run in partnership with Contextful, you will also access up to date marketing trends and insights, without having to take too much time out of your diaries.

It's also where some genuinely useful partnerships between members have started: joint campaigns, shared initiatives and referral relationships that make commercial sense for everyone involved.

Be recognised

Members are eligible for inclusion in the BAHA Hotel Recognition Awards - a well-established celebration of hospitality excellence across the BCP area. Winning or being shortlisted carries real weight with guests and local press.

Take a look at our Awards Page to find out more about the award seasons, nomination criteria and past winners.

Have a Voice

When something affects hospitality in this area, whether it's local planning, tourism policy or infrastructure, we are at the table. Members are part of that collective voice, and the bigger and more diverse our membership, the louder it is.

Attending events or subscribing to the newsletter is a real way in which you can get your concerns or endorsements across to key stakeholders who can make things happen.

Access trusted suppliers

Through our Patrons programme, members get access to a curated group of local and national suppliers who understand the hospitality sector and offer services specifically relevant to accommodation providers.
